You could also target only ships that belong to a certain faction or just the pirates. The battles will take place on the sea — naval battles or on land (and on board the attacked ship) — sword and pistol fighting. But getting close to another ship isn’t always about attacking it. You could just trade with it.
It’s okay. I’m sorry, I’m still thinking about the video component. So the sound wasn’t even nearly as impressive as the video, there are really no reasons for complaint. The sounds in the game serve the mere purpose of enhancing the feeling of the environment. Living world sounds like cricket ringing and water rippling can be detected. Combat sounds are also pretty good. Slashing, arrow releasing — they all have their specific sound. Growling, mumbling and the «final breath» spice up the battles a little. The voice acting was probably an impossible mission thus far in a game of this complexity so it was avoided by the use of character lines popping up above their heads or on a separate text box if there were lots of things to say or a quest was offered.
Besides team talks and training schedules, there is another important addition that consists in player preferred moves and position indicators. Position indicators do not resume just to what they mean: showing whether a player can play or be trained in a specific position. Besides position indicators, there have been added other specifications like explosive, flamboyant or cultured. Although these «titles» may sound special, they mostly show in short, which set of stats of a player are better developed or can be better improved, thus which should be his playing style. For instance, explosive wingers should be better used as target men rather than playmakers as this reflects the player’s thirst for goal rather than his ability to create goals on his own.

The optimization is a one-click process, as well, but there are no options to modify the process.
